Tokyo Tower.

My Japan pics are nearly finishing — just one more day to go — but luckily, keoshi just started with his batches, so don’t forget to take a look, because it’s well worth it!

In Shimbashi, we visited the famous Nagakin Capsule Tower. This unique capsule hotel was built in the 70s, as a postwar hotel. The design is absolutely amazing and it’s quite a shame to see it a bit degraded.

We then took a long stroll through Hamarikyu gardens, where, once again, the beautiful ancient nature blends effortlessly with the modern jungle.

Next stop, Tokyo Tower. I took a thousand and one photos to the same tower, but I’m just going to use one here. Ever since I fell in love with manga/anime, Tokyo Tower has been one of my dream destinations/landmarks to visit, and this was finally the day. The tower is brilliant, and even though we didn’t go up, we spent quite some time just staring at it, amazed.

On our way back to the hotel we found a Matsuri, out of the blue. Unfortunately, it started raining quite a bit, turning into a huge storm so we went back to the hotel, where we awed at the storm outside (I managed to film a bit with the iPhone) and later got back to the party, where we had delicious street food.
