Welcome Baby L.

On the 13th of June my life, our life, changed forever. My water broke at dawn and at 8am we were already in the hospital ready for the party. Contractions began around noon but the baby refused (or so we thought) to drop further than she had. The pain was already unbearable when I was given an epidural that somehow accelerated the whole thing. She started to drop and I was rushed to the delivery room, where, after literally 5 minutes, my baby girl was born. Turns out she didn’t drop sooner because the umbilical cord was short.

It truly is an indescribable moment.

It seems like yesterday! Time sure does fly even faster when you have a baby to take care of. But… it’s been wonderful (and even that is an understatement). There are really no words that convey what’s been going on.

After two days in the hospital we came back home and it’s been a whole new world for us all. And we can’t wait for more. Welcome Baby L!

Unfortunately there was also room for bad news. A friend has passed away last week very suddenly, leaving everyone shocked.  I’m sorry there wasn’t much more time to get to know him properly. RIP.

Things like this happen everyday, all the time, and no one can get away. This is why it’s so important for everyone to enjoy their lives, the present, to the fullest, making the best of it.

Have a great week!
