New York City, how do you do?

It’s been a while, eh? I guess this blogging thing takes practice – took me 10 mins to come up with a title for this…then I remembered I could just start writing and choose a title after. Genius.

These last 6 months (6 months?!?!) were a whirlwind of craziness and goodness. I’ve been busy, to say the least. That’s probably why half a year when by just like that.

I guess it’s no use to go over what happened in my life over the past six months – a lot happened.

As soon as I was finished with school, we flew to NYC. This was the trip that I was supposed to have done when I was still pregnant, back in April’15, so I was very excited to finally go to New York with K, and the baby, and check out the city with different colors.

I wasn’t disappointed. New York is quite amazing. I don’t think there’s an accurate description for this city, because it’s in itself so indescribable and unique. There’s so much going on, all the time, so much weirdness and so much commonality and, the best thing, everybody walks with a I-don’t-care attitude (and a latte). One can’t help but belong to that city, or rather, a better word would be, to be absorbed by it. Once you start dwelling through those streets, latte in hand (you have to give in), you can’t help but wonder ‘yep, I could live here for a while’.

On that note, and because I don’t want to bore you right away, here are some photos, taken with the iPhone.
