on purpose.

I finished reading American on Purpose, by Craig Ferguson.

Great, great book. That’s his story but it could be anyone’s. We all mess up in life. After that there’s only left for us to fess up our mistakes, get our wrongs right and move along.

And that’s what this book is all about.

Today I literally bumped one of my greatest and oldest friends. This is the kind of friend with whom we sort of lost contact with because of college affairs… We talk on the phone here and there and we text but we rarely meet. We understand, of course, that we have lives of our own, and the show must go on, so we never waste time with the usual crappy talk  “oh you never called!…”…

When we meet even if we haven’t seen each other for ages (I had last met her back in December), we talk like we saw one another just yesterday. So the conversation just flows normally, which is exactly what I appreciate in my friends — and I have a very few friends of this sort, the ones I call best friends, in the true sense of the word “best”.

It was wonderful to talk and feel like the crazy young teens we were once in our lives. Even though so much as changed in our lives we will always be the same, akane and momiji. I remember we would spend hours coming up with new characters for our stories and ideas for new websites — I searched for a few of those, but they’re all gone, the only thing left is a background I drew…that pictures momiji, myself and meiko (the 3rd element of our group).

Good old days.

I now feel like watching Ranma 1/2, Marmalade Boy and so many other things….! ahh…

All in all, it was a good day.

oh and I had my tattoos done!

infinite love (though the infinite has much more meaning that just that, but that’s another story, for another day).
