___crastination.

I have a sh!t load of things to do. And I’ve been procrastinating… Something I can do in a three hour span, I did today in a six hours… it sucks. And it doesn’t help that I work better by night, well past the 10pm mark, because I’ve been trying to go to bed earlier and wake up earlier. It’s like fighting against myself to (try to) be productive in the mornings or during the afternoon… But I can do it. I’ve done it before and I can do it again. I just need to focus. And stop procrastinating. urgh.

I saw my grandfather today (my dad’s dad), who’s in the same home as my grandmother (my mum’s mum). They seem to like it there, mainly because they bring them home by night and for the weekends, so it’s kinda like a good distraction for them during the day. My grandfather is a peculiar person. He’s funny and likes simple things. He’s almost 90 and his short-term memory is getting…well, short. So I had the same conversation with him for at least 20 minutes, which went like:

Granddad — when are you getting married?
me — I probably won’t…
Granddad — why not?!
me — meh…what for?
Granddad — I’d like to go your wedding.
me — why?
Granddad — (leaning over) I want to have cake. Wedding cakes are the best.
me — I’ll bake you a cake. No need for me to get married.
Granddad — aren’t you paying attention?? Wedding cakes are the best! 

I had to laugh… again. Because every time we talk he asks the same thing… but it’s funny every time.

Now let’s stop procrastinating. and by that I mean me.
