It’s cold. That’s not news anymore. Today we woke up with the sun breaking through the shields of our very dutch window and I checked the weather. -5 degrees Celsius (23 Fahrenheit). Eek.
But I had a tremendous time riding my bike today. It’s breathtaking to bike around and look at the canals and it’s almost otherworldly to be in bike traffic! So after a nice walk through the Asian part of town and the red light district and a few places more we headed back home only to go out again to get our dinner from subway. I love subway. There should be a subway in every corner. Anyway… That was when the cold was worse but the views were simply beautiful. The lighten up canals the empty streets, the tilted houses… Beautiful.
