After a change of clothes and a nice refreshing shower we went out to have dinner in Trastevere. We wanted to take in the night life in Rome with the locals… And we definitely got that.
We had dinner in a nice place where the locals ate where we had very nice pasta. After that we headed to a bar where we sat for a couple of drinks. Guinness and negroni and tacos, and Guinness and a mojito. Negroni is a little bit too strong for me. But amazingly tastes differently every time you drink it. But still a bit too strong… So that’s why the mojito came next! That was delicious.
The bar and the streets were filled with italians jut having a good time, much like our bairro alto in Lisbon.
And I couldn’t leave trastevere without a pistachio ice cream! We got to the hotel at 3am ish, showered again and today our feet are kinda beaten up again… Ah well!
It was well worth it!
