abu dhabi – the land of the future.

It’s June, can you believe it? This will be a very very busy month. I have to finish marking all assignments, make exams and mark them and write reports, and finally prepare for next year.

Luckily, I’ve got something to look up to by the end of June that I’m totally excited about — summer holidays!!!! oh yeesss. But before that, let’s hold the horses and work a little bit more, that last push.

In March I had the chance of flying to Dubai, as I’ve previously mentioned before here. I met with several teachers from all over the world and was a great privilege to work alongside them for three days. And part from that, I also had the chance to see first hand one of the most modern cities in the world. It was very different from everywhere I had been in, but if I had to compare it to one place, I’d say Las Vegas, but in Abu Dhabi everything is much more… refined? But I don’t want to repeat myself (anymore than I already do), so check the previous post!

And here a just a couple of pics with the fuji x100s.

Have a great Sunday, y’all!

Sun coming in early.

burj khalifa standing (VERY) tall.
burk khalifa. It’s unbelievably tall.
sun setting.
everyone waiting to see the biggest dancing fountains in the world.
sun is gone, but it’s still quite a view!
the background of the beach’s hotel we were having dinner at. Doesn’t it remind you of the Jetsons? I kept hoping a small spaceship was going to show up.
the food was incredibly delicious everywhere I went. Even if it came in a bag.
