Korea day 7 – Busan

On our 7th day, our second day in Busan, we decided to go to the beach. Not the popular Busan beaches like Haeundae or Gwangalli, but to a closest one to us by bus, Songdo beach. The goal was not to *go to the beach* but to check the area and have the girls play around in the sand, walk around the shore and maybe grab a bite to eat before getting the cable car to Songdo Sky park and Amnam park.

We ended up doing exactly that. The beach was in a non swimming area, so there weren’t a lot of people around, the girls enjoyed themselves by playing around in the sand and afterwards we walked the Songdo Yonggungdari bridge, to check the views.

There were plenty of fresh seafood restaurants that were just opening up for the day, and we just randomly picked one. We were surprised by the huge amount of sea food brought to us. It was a lot, and it was all delicious. The owners brought the girls a rice treat and it was overall a really nice experience. They did not speak a word of English, so we mostly communicated by gestures and Korean words that we had translated in our phones.

After lunch, coffee was needed, so we headed to A Twosome place. We then got ourselves onto the cable car and enjoyed the transparent floor and the amazing sea cliffs along the shore from a higher perspective.

When we got to Amnam Park, we decided to take a walk around and we found that it had a dino park! So that’s where we spent the rest of our afternoon, until it was time to go back.

  1. This was a great, mostly unplanned day. Some of these photos are just begging to be printed. Please?
