Giant Sequoias & more

Now that I'm on Summer break, let's just try to finish the posts from the US of A, shall we? We left it off after our visit to Yosemite. The following day we got up early and piled on eggs & bacon. We would be hiking. We were on our way to see some giant sequoias. And this would also be the last day at our pretty house.
We drove to Mariposa Grove, where we parked and started our hike. Each girl got a walking stick and off we went to see these beauties. The site is amazing, the sequoias are out-of-this-world incredible, but the 9 km we hiked were, quite simply, the highlight of the day. We would definitely do it again in a heartbeat.
This would be the end of our Yosemite journey. We set off to our next stop: Napa Valley. We stopped for In'n'out burgers.
